盗撮という本来タブーとされる視点からその絶妙な距離感だからこそ被写体が見せる日常の中の”超現実的な一瞬”を、加工やリタッチは一切施さずありのままで映し出す。

studio Périphérique, is a photographic book from
founder/photographer Laurent Salles.
PIPI could have been an assault on decency. But this collection of stolen and revealed intimacies always wield distance with skill : the skill of those who can, at any moment, transcend immediate ordinary reality into extraordinary point of view.​
PIPI presents a photographic collection of
stolen moments. A young woman’s pee breaks
in various locations during her travels across
the planet.
This photographic series will result in an
artistic and beautifully crafted print edition, made in only 200 numbered copies.
To stay realistic, the photos are deliberately classic. Without any effects or retouching. It is important that the hide and seek game that has taken place with the subject is perceived.
